Dry Dock Training
ADEC Kedge is committed to fostering excellence and safety within the maritime industry.
In partnership with esteemed training provider DM Consulting, we hosted our first 4-day Dry Dock Training event in Hobart, Tasmania, in April 2024. This collaborative effort brought together maritime professionals seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge of safety procedures related to the drydocking of ships and vessels.
Accredited by the Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers (SNAME) and the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA), the course delved deep into every aspect of drydocking, from safety protocols to universal calculations and past accident analysis.
Participants gained invaluable insights, emerging with enhanced skills and a profound understanding of the drydocking process and associated risks.
Following the success of the first course, we delivered a second Dry Dock Training in 2025 and continue to receive fantastic feedback from participants. This growing interest highlights the ongoing demand for high-quality, practical training in this space. We plan to hold further dry dock training programs at locations across Australia, with future dates to be announced on our website and social media channels.
